About The Lambda Doll House

The Sorors of Lambda Chapter welcome you to come and visit our house, The Eta Phi Beta Sorority house consists of six rooms that reflect our pledge of sisterhood and loyalty.

We first begin with our Founder’s Room. It displays 11 beautiful human roses who had a vision while attending Lewis Business College in Detroit MI. These women were Ivy Burt Banks, Dorothy Sylvers Brown, Earline Carter, Mae Edwards Curry, Kathleen Douglas, Lena Reed, Merry Greene Hubbard, Ethel Madison, Atheline Shelton Mattie Rankins, and Ann Porter. Their dedication, effort, and devotion will forever carry a lifeline history for us to appreciate our legacy in the years to come.

Our Eta Phi Beta Scholarship Room reflects on high school graduates entering college. The purpose of this room is to show how our organization aids high school graduates by awarding scholarships to further their education.

Our Lambda Room reflects on the sorority history and the day the Lambda chapter was formed. it was on October 28th, 1961, under the direction of founder Mary Greene Hubbard. as sisters of Lambda Chapter, we continue to demonstrate our commitment, loyalty, and sisterly love for one another.

Our Education Room serves people with mental challenges and other exceptional children within our community.

Our Ballroom shows that we are shining stars who display our beauty and grace.

Last but not least is our Relaxation Room. It shows that busy bees can get tired and need to take off time for rest. As Sorors as we must continue to live up to our noble sorority that is true to our hearts by believing in honesty obedience, efficiency, sincerity, and loyalty we can then say that we are: “Eta Phi Beta women together forever continuing the legacy.”
